Locum Tenens Radiologist — Diagnostic & Light IR
Dates: November 2026 – May 2027 (approximately 6 months)
Setting: Community hospital, hospital-based practice
A community hospital is seeking a locum tenens radiologist for roughly six months of coverage. The case mix runs about 80–90% diagnostic and 10–20% interventional, joining a group of three radiologists. On-site coverage only — procedures are required, so this is not a teleradiology assignment.
Schedule: Eight-hour weekday shifts with no call or call-back. Flexible structure — 5x8s for two weeks per month, or 10 shifts per month arranged however works best.
Requirements: Board certified (ABMS/AOA), BLS and ACLS, MQSA certification. Comfort with general diagnostic work (plain film, fluoro, mammo, US, CT, MRI/MRA, PET, DEXA) plus body interventional and non-vascular procedures. Breast interventional, neuro CT/IR, and nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
Systems: Cerner EMR; GE and Siemens equipment; Fuji and McKesson PACS.
Hospital privileges required — allow 60–120 days.
