SCI Health Partners is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN for ongoing locums coverage in Charlottesville, Virginia.
This opportunity pays $6,300 per 24-hour in-house shift, with flexibility for physicians interested in PRN coverage or recurring blocks. The need is expected to continue into 2027.
Schedule
- 24-hour in-house coverage, 7a–7a
- $6,300 per 24-hour shift
- Consecutive shifts available
- Full-week blocks preferred when available
- PRN/once-monthly availability considered
- Ongoing coverage anticipated into 2027
- Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
Practice
- Approximately 20 deliveries/month currently
- Volume may grow to 40+ deliveries/month
- Level II NICU
- Primarily established OB/GYN patient population
- Unassigned OB/GYN/ED coverage also included
- Approximately 6 unassigned ED visits/admissions per month
- Epic EMR
- Dedicated L&D OR
- L&D nursing support
- CNM coverage may provide relief during longer blocks
Clinical Scope
Full-scope inpatient OB/GYN including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, OB/GYN emergencies, D&C, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, ovarian cystectomy and related inpatient procedures.
Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Active Virginia medical license
- DEA
- Full-scope OB/GYN experience
