SCI Health Partners is seeking Board Certified OB/GYN physicians for an ongoing locums opportunity in the Dallas–Fort Worth area beginning February 2027.
This is a 24-hour in-house OB/GYN Hospitalist opportunity offering $4,500 per shift, with a manageable commitment of approximately 4–6 shifts per month and a strong L&D support structure.
Schedule

- 24-hour in-house coverage, 7a–7a
- Approximately 4–6 shifts/month

- No office call responsibilities
- CNMs take first call
Practice Details
- Approximately 1,300–1,500 births annually
- OB Emergency Department
- Unassigned OB/GYN coverage
- Labor management and fetal monitoring
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Emergency OB procedures
- Postpartum care
- Pregnancy-related and GYN hospital consults
- Epic EMR
Support
Excellent hospital-based support including:
- Certified Nurse Midwives – first call
- In-house Neonatologist
- 24/7 Anesthesia
- OB/GYN Hospitalists
- Family Medicine physicians
- Level III NICU
- Dedicated C-section suites
Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Recent OB delivery and surgical experience
- Comfortable with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Emergency obstetrical experience
- Texas medical license preferred
Compensation & Travel
$4,500 per 24-hour shift
Airfare, lodging, rental car and malpractice coverage provided.
